Refund and Returns Policy

DrinkSteap Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller) is committed to protecting the personal data of its partners and clients and pays special attention to complying with applicable data protection laws, particularly the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679.

This Policy applies to all products purchased from DrinkSteap Ltd. through its website, by e-mail, or by phone. It sets out the conditions under which customers may return products, request a replacement, or obtain a refund.

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform DrinkSteap Ltd. of the decision by an unequivocal statement sent to info@drinksteap.com.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to: sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery, goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery.

The consumer must return the product without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which the withdrawal was communicated. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed. Products must be returned in their original, undamaged condition, complete with all accessories and original packaging. The Seller reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if the returned product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

The Seller will reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs resulting from the consumer's choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by the Seller), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which the Seller is informed of the withdrawal. The refund will be carried out using the same means of payment as the consumer used for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back, or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

In the case of defective products, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract. Warranty claims must be reported to info@steap.hu, providing the order number and a description of the defect, together with photographs where relevant. Shipping costs related to the return of defective products are borne by the Seller.

Complaints concerning the service or the return procedure may be submitted at info@drinksteap.com. The Seller will investigate the complaint and respond within 30 days.

If the consumer does not agree with the way the complaint has been handled, the following remedies are available: filing a complaint with the competent district office (járási hivatal) acting as the consumer protection authority, turning to the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina körút 99., initiating judicial proceedings. Consumers resident in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

The Seller reserves the right to modify this Refund and Returns Policy. Any modifications shall enter into force on the date they are published on the website. The version in force at the time of purchase applies to each order.
